At PARAGON COMICS we LOVEcomic books of all shapes, sizes and colors; heck we even have a soft spot for those black and white magazine format comics so popular in the 1960's and 70's! We love to read them, collect them, look at them, buy them, stack them and, ** ahem, smell them (we're guessing you do too!). Occasionally we even like to sell them. Well, hopefully more than occasionally...
We believe comic book collecting is fun and we want to share that fun with you. Our goal is not to be the biggest comic book dealer, or the comic book dealer with the "super fantastic 80% limited time sale" that has been extended since 1996 (can't you just hear the carnival barkers and smell that cotton candy?). No, we won't always be the cheapest, but we will be the best; or you can have your money back! We are focused on bringing you the highest quality back issue comics, graphic novels, and original comic art we can find, fairly graded, safely packaged and competitively priced.
Think of us as your local, on-line, comic shop. We offer an extensive inventory of quality back issues and original comic book art; conservatively graded and fairly priced. While we do have the occasional inventory blow out sale (hey who doesn’t like a party now and then!) we pride ourselves on keeping our every day back issue prices consistent with the Overstreet Price Guide and current market trends. Is it really an “80%” blow out sale when your “regular price” is 200% of the Guide? We don’t think so, and we’re betting you don’t either!
We offer a full suite of services you would expect to find at your local comic shop (and a few they just can’t match!):
- Our store is open 24/7– our light is always on and the store is open!
- Every comic you buy (with very few exceptions) is shipped to you individually bagged and boarded in a 2 mil polypropylene bag with an acid free backer board.
- “Severely Paranoid” Packing – We assume the worst so you get the best! We know every carrier has a cadre of “evil nebbishes” whose sole purpose is to attempt to mangle your order, so we package every order as if it were being sent to the outer reaches of Antarctica to give it a fighting chance.
